Senior Consultant - General & Laparoscopic Surgery
Dr. Paramjit Singh Kahlon is presently a senior consultant specializing in general and laparoscopic surgery with over ten years of experience in all kinds of abdominal laparoscopic and open surgeries, including abdominal chest, trauma, breast surgeries & varicose veins. He has a special interest in minimally invasive abdominal surgeries and laser treatment of varicose veins and haemorrhoids.
He earned his M.B.B.S. from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, Karnataka, in 2003, then completed his postgraduate studies in general surgery at Govt. Medical College, Amritsar in 2008. Following this, he joined as Senior Resident at S.G.R.D. Medical College for one year and two years at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi.
He received a fellowship from F.M.A.S. (Fellowship of the Association of Minimal Access Surgery) in 2011 before becoming an assistant professor at S.G.R.D. Medical College from 2011 to 2013, where he was involved with teaching undergraduate students of medicine and also training junior residents in various fields of general surgery as well as laparoscopy. Dr Kahlon has attended many conferences and workshops at the national level.
